Kickstart '22
While I’m not a big fan of resolutions, I AM a fan of anything that will get you closer to your goals. Make January 2022 different. This journey is about the whole picture – inner game and outer game. You can’t separate the two if you want changes that will last well beyond January. Whether you are looking for a new perspective, new healthy habits, or a new friend to hold you accountable, Kickstart ‘22 might be just the thing for you.
What Exactly is Kickstart ‘22?
We’ll tackle the body, the mind, and the environment that you spend most of your time in…your home. A healthy life is about the whole picture, and we’ll help you set up your life, your mind, and your environment to guarantee success. It’s both an inside and an outside job!
This journey will be full of information, tools, and activities to get you from where you are to where you want to be. We have a ton to cover and only 5 weeks to do it… to add a bit of pressure. Come ready to work and of course, have FUN!
Here’s some of what we’ll cover:
• Get familiar with the concept of “Hunger and Fullness” and how to apply it in ALL areas of life.
• Stress can wreak havoc on our minds and our bodies…and our waistlines. Learn the “Magic Secret 6” to help turn off the sympathetic nervous system and turn on the parasympathetic nervous system, otherwise known as the “rest and digest” system. These simple practical tips will have your metabolism fired up and your skinny jeans looking fabulous 😉🙌!
• Knowledge is power. Turn off auto-pilot and get present to how you are thinking, what you are doing, and the choices you are making. Whether it’s how much water 💦, healthy fat, or sugar you are consuming or how you are unnecessarily judging yourself and self-sabotaging, step 1 is awareness. Step 2 is to catch and correct.
• If the term “working out” has you running for the hills, you aren’t alone. While some people love the idea of an intense sweat session, there is value in movement of ANY kind. Get rid of that “all or nothing” attitude that might be holding you back from moving your body. While you experiment to find the activities that you love 🧘♀️🏌️♀️🚴♀️🚣♀️, the rest of us will hold you accountable and make sure that you are shaking that booty.
• Clearing the clutter, anyone? Set small realistic goals for one area of you house…to start. Whether you want to clear out some junk, spruce up with new throw pillows and a plant 🎍, or paint and buy all new furniture for your whole room, we will discuss the importance of having an environment that is both calming and energizing at the same time. You’ll likely be on a roll and wind up taking your creative energy into the next space, and the next, and the next.
• Check to see that your kitchen is set up for success. Use handy lists to shop for and stock your kitchen with ingredients 🥦🥑🥗 that will help you get closer to your goals. Turn up the dial on food quality and make small adjustments that will get you closer to the healthier end of the spectrum.
• What do you want more of going forward? What do you want less of? You can have it all, but you can’t work on it all AT ONCE. Get focused on what you want to pour your energy into right now!
Kickstart ’22 will start on 1/12, at 7:30 and will run for 5 weeks. Each class will be approx. 90 minutes, live via Zoom, and will be recorded in case you need to miss. The special investment for this journey is $172.00...my birth month and year, 1/72 😉…it’s a BIG one coming up!
